How do you measure the power or energy of a THz source? You use our Broadband, Thermal Pyroelectric Detector or Instrument.
They are small, portable, operate at "room temperature" and are relatively inexpensive, unlike Bolometers and Golay Cells.
Though their performance in the THz region today is not as strong as in the IR region, they are very useful and getting better.
Our product development in this area is robust and we expect the performance will continue to improve over time.
Choose from a small hybrid detector and convenient Detector Evaluation Test Box, a modular Analog Instrument designed for use with your Lock-In Amplifier, or a USB-based digital Instrument Amplifier with powerful LabView Applications Software.
